No, nearly all bags sold on ebay are fake. But ebay does offer many guides to on how to spot a fake bag for all the different designers. http://reviews.ebay.com/

I bought one for my mom last yr. for her birthday. It turned out to be real, so it was all good. Make sure that you’re not wayyy underpaying the cost of what it would normally cost. If it sounds too good to be true, it’s fake. A bag on Ebay should cost 200+ and make sure that the ebay seller isn’t just doing a one day listing or from an Asian country. Those are sure fire signs that something is fishy. Also, check out their feedback. If nowhere on the page does it say Authentic or if they offer no return, then it’s fake.
all i know is that on the louis vuitton speedy, there should be 5 stiches on the handle. fakes have more.
it depends i wouldnt buy it if there isnt a picture of like a tag that shows it is reall but still then i would study it hard
Personally I would buy the bags from their online stores because most on Ebay are probably are second hand and/or replicas.
Designer handbags are hard to tell from pictures because they are usually blurry. Remember knock offs could look almost the same as the real ones. Also use your common sense. If it says its a “real new Coach” for only $ 25, its probably a fake.
With places like ebay, it’s just safe to assume that if you are buying it “new” and “authentic”, it’s fake. A lot of the fake bags will look like real ones, but there will be a slight difference in tags, stitching, etc. (Just because they have a Coach shopping bag in the picture with the purse doesn’t make it real ^_^.) If the bags on ebay cost as much as the ones in the store, just go to the store. If they costs less than 70% of the purse’s retail price, and it’s “new”, there’s a 95%+ chance it’s fake. Look at the country listing too. If the purse is from Asia (with the exception of Japan for the most part) there is a high chance that it is fake.
If you are going to buy from ebay, try to buy used purses. Make sure that people show you enough pictures (and not the stock pictures; pictures they took themselves), and if you want information don’t be afraid to ask for it. Make sure they let you know about any damage and defects and even ask them why they are selling the purse. You can also ask people for receipts and proof of authenticity, what the dust bags look like, etc. And be wary if they don’t offer refunds.
There are some websites online that sell real purses- an example is bluefly.com
ebay may be ok, though risk still exist with slim possibility.
but it is another story for others.
